Noxious has succsesfully repelled the Muramite invasion! Along the way we ran across the many strange creature of Talosiea:
While many of the temples of Taleosia were occupied by golems, only one had his own horns section:
Some Zun's mistook us for door to door salesmen:
However, we managed to convince them otherwise:
We encountered the mother of all goats :0
And after a long hard road, we finally encountered the leader of the invasion along with his entourage:
Tunat says, "Come get some!"
Tunat owned! Now to go get the muramites where they live! ---- (16)

The Lost Dungeons of Norrath are lost no more! It has been an exceptionally rewarding experience to do something few have done before – and we are stronger for having worked together to complete this content. LDoN raids are a different sort of challenge, with unusual and creative scripts. Figuring them out wasn’t always easy, but it was well worth our time. Many of these victories were server first accomplishments! And where else can you get an aug that summons this?
On to Discord… Hope no one suffers from arachnophobia, because this is what awaited us in Yxtta:
Primal Arachnid, Primal Reptile, Primal Insect… squashed. Then on to Ikkinz where we defeated the trials one by one. Great teamwork, everyone!
(Here we are during one of the trials. Cavorting is carefully balancing on Grais’s head, Grais is showing Scrufy that an axe to the neck can be a powerful incentive to heal, and Galcalax is becoming one with his familiar. Or maybe he really grew wings and a tail.) Uqua was a challenge… but nothing we couldn’t handle, with some learning and practice and perseverance… then on to Inktu`Ta, where Noqufiel tried to trick us with her mirror image. Will the real Noqufiel please stand up? Alright then, we’ll just kill them both. The lure of the goats keeps us coming back to Qvic… and sometimes we even find the elusive Cragbeast Queen along the way.
Let us not forget the work put into achieving our epic 1.5s – it’s wonderful to see guildies helping each other get this done. As we venture into Txevu and beyond, I just want to express how proud of this guild I am and how very much I appreciate the hard work and dedication of each and every Noxious member. It's been an honor and a pleasure working with such great people, and I look forward to meeting the upcoming challenges together! ---- (7)

---- The Crew of Noxious, Summer 2007
Time is a zone that every guild wants to beat. A long journey of raiding that a raid force can really sink their teeth into and work together to achieve. It all starts with a PoJ trial and ends with abundant riches and trinkets for everyone.
Nothing can beat the feeling of success. Second time we hit this zone we cleared it, bottom to top, no wipes. This reflects the well oiled machine known to Norrath as "Noxious".
Noxious is committed to killing all of the content this great game has to offer. That committment was made through NToV, Vex Thal, and now we bask in the glory of TIME!
With the summer season typically known as the 'down time' for many players, it's ominous to think of what we can achieve as we begin looking at our fall targets. By the time the leaves are falling off the trees Noxious will be a time-geared guild ready to take on GoD! Noxious - be proud, be very very proud. Thanks to the leaders and the membership, Noxious is a great place to call home. Summon a round for everyone FM - lets party in the clubhouse and....... LET'S FARM GOOOOOOOO! - Growlpus ---- (18)

The Crew of Noxious, Spring 2007 Vex Thal is a zone typically skipped if at all possible by guilds moving through progression, and there are many arguments in favor of that decision. By all means it is nothing short of a grueling quest, and requires some very complicated raiding. All of that said, the epic feat that is completing Vex Thal is a revitalizing fire. It's a badge of honor, giving everyone who has set foot within the right to say "I have been there and I earned it." Noxious fought long and hard to defeat Emperor Ssra, getting a guild completely keyed, losing and gaining members the whole time, and making every effort to help newcomers catch up, while keeping a stiff upper lip as keyed members moved on. I think Vex Thal has been our greatest effort to date, and we are now reaping the rewards. These rewards are not just loot, however, but the right to boast we are commited, competent, and a true family. We did something great as a team and we certainly are proud of this. Spring will be a great time for us as we gear up and reset our goals to planar progression, something we have already sunk our teeth into. At the time I write this we have roughly 40 members elemental flagged, and as we continue to backflag on Tuesdays that number will only increase. As we move into summer I imagine our visits to Vex Thal will slowly decrease as our focus moves on, but we certainly will never forget what we have accomplished. We are a team, a family, and a force to be reckoned with. If you're a member, hold your head high and be proud, if you're applying, I hope you come to know us well and continue to maintain our current standards of teamwork and cooperation, which is what makes this great guild such fun to be a part of.

---- Hello everyone! It's been a while since our last news update, so here it is. Since our first Vulak kill in December, we've been very busy. True to our charter, we have been progressing through content at our own pace, having a blast and making many new friends. We've completed literally dozens of epics, killed our old enemy Vulak several times, as well as turning on our allies in Kael to run the table on Vindi, Statue, Tormax, and the Avatar of War. You will still see us in Kael regularly, but we have finished Velious for the most part. Most guilds skip Luclin due to the time and effort involved. Allow me to quote our charter: "We would like to progress thoroughly through Everquest. Our goal is to be on the higher end of the guild spectrum, but still have a good time." Check, check, and check. We stuck our noses to the grindstone for the better part of two months, tirelessly keying and completing both the lower end and also the toughest encounters in Luclin through trial, error, research, and good old experimentation. End result? Victories and fun reminiscent of the times when it was new. ![]()
Rumblecrush, Va' dynn, Doomshade? Down. Itraer Vius? Down. The Burrower Beast? Down. Thought Horror Overfiend? Down. Servitor/Grieg? Down. Rhags? Down. XTC? Down. Glyphed/Exiled/Cursed? Down. High Priest? Down. Arch Lich? Down. Seru? Down. Emp? DOWN! ![]() ![]() ![]()
The vast majority of the guild is keyed for the Emperor encounter and we have killed him twice now. We will definitely kill him one more time soon to finish stragglers and alts for their VT keys. He's one of the hardest mobs in the game and we took our lumps learning how to kill him. We did it, had a blast, and plan to do it again.
Vex Thal will be our playground for the next month or more as we continue to experience Luclin and make steady progress through the Planes of Power. So far we have completed many Plane of Justice trials, a couple hedge runs, and downed Grummus. We will be powering through Tier1 and moving to more difficult PoP content at our own pace as we continue to enjoy Luclin.
When asked what he had to say about Nox's progress through luclin, Lord Inquisitor Seru had this to say:
Holy #$%, we really ARE gonna die!!! ---- (0)
